Frequently asked questions
- How does online signup work?
- You choose your school from the official SAAQ-recognized schools registry, enter your information and your school's, then register a card ($0 charged). Each request is then reviewed by hand — you get an answer within 24 business hours, and your 8-week trial starts on approval.
- We already use Excel. Do we have to retype everything?
- No. Import is done from your current file, with a row-by-row preview before confirming anything. We do it with you at the first meeting — count on about an hour.
- How long before it's useful?
- The day after import. As soon as your active students are in the system, the morning dashboard sorts at-risk files — there's nothing to configure or set up.
- Does it replace our billing or scheduling system?
- No, and that's deliberate. The app covers SAAQ compliance and student-file tracking. Your scheduling and accounting stay where they are.
- Where do our sensitive documents go?
- Nowhere: we don't store them. The app notes which evidence exists, where it's kept at your school, and whether it's up to date. The biggest leak risk is removed from the product rather than "secured." Details on the Privacy page.
- Does this help us with Québec's personal-information protection law?
- We don't replace your own compliance assessment, but never asking for your sensitive documents removes, from the outset, the heaviest risk to manage under that law: what happens to a document once it's uploaded to a third party. The less we store, the less there is to protect.
- Do students or their parents have access to the app?
- No account to create for them. Each student gets a personal tracking link (revocable at any time) showing their progress — without exposing the rest of the file or other students' data.
- Does the app send SMS to our students?
- Only if you explicitly enable it. By default, reminders are prepared and logged without being sent — you see exactly what would go out before anything actually goes out.
- What if we haven't had time to really try it?
- Write to us before the trial ends — we'd rather extend it a bit than lose you over a half-configured account.
- Can I cancel during the trial?
- Yes, at any time, at no cost — nothing is charged before the end of the 8 weeks. Write to us and we'll close the account.
- What happens to our data if we stop?
- You export everything to CSV whenever you want, and we delete it all on simple request. Your data belongs to you, during and after the trial.
- How much does it cost?
- 8 free weeks, no commitment, then $99 CAD per month for the first 10 schools — a founder rate locked in for life (up to 300 active students). After the first cohort, the regular rate increases; signing up early locks in your price forever. Details on the Pricing page.
